Meet Up At Libraries
Posted by Angela Shelton on Dec 18, 2009
My work has always spread because of the power of word-of-mouth via the Army of Angels.  Angels talk about it and it spreads healing and inspiration so I am suggesting a new talking point - libraries!  Instead of spending money on stuff people will throw away after the holiday, please consider getting a copy of the documentary and donating it to your local library and getting others to do the same.  You never know, the synchronicity of life could lead you to an adventure, a new best friend, the time of your life or an enlightening experience!  I have them all the time with the Army of Angels.

I just wrote a post about it on my blog too!

As the new affiliate program launches, having meet ups at local libraries for healing support groups is a good idea too!   There are so many possibilities to spread joy.   Thank you for being angels!

More great ideas.  Libraries are fabulous environments for exchanging knowledge and support and so much more.  You are doing such important work and deserve waves of love and appreciation from the survivors of the world.  You are a true angel and an incredibly caring individual.  Thank YOU, Angela.
Interesting point, Angela.  I was able to get your book through my library system and my local library has Safe Side Super Chick, but I have searched university libraries and all the libraries in my geographical area and NONE of them have "Miss America by Day."  it is a little startling.  Maybe I'll have to find it used on Amazon so I can add it to the collection here.
Here is a review I wrote of "Miss America by Day" by Marilyn VanDerbur. I just posted it on the Survivor Manual.
Yay, my library, Pikes Peak Library District, has copies of "Finding Angela Shelton" finally I get to read. I had not thought of looking for it there, for some reason. Thanks for the suggestion.
I can't figure out how to start a new discussion, perhaps What Angels are Reading or Poems for Angels, so I'll post it here.  This is from Alice Walker's book "Now is the Time to Open Your Heart."

Armando was singing a song about forgiveness.

Who is it that most needs forgiving?
Who is it that feels so much pain?
Who is it that would really like to fly
Far far away?
Who is it that can return
Free and gentle
Like the rain?
It is the Self, my love,
My adored one,
It is the Self
That even now
Is running for its Life
Running to its life
Into the arms
Of death.
But we are here
the little sweet friends
Of the Self
And we are holding
On to nothing
But the Self
And we are saying
Beloved
Come back.
Sometimes running is the best answer because out there is new life.  What may appear to many as running away from my problems is mearly moving on to a better life.  Which I have done many times in this life I have had.

When everything around you can't be fixed or worked with then it's time to move on.  That is where I am at this morning.  AS my new life begins, there are things that need to be fixed right away so that there is peace in my life.  So my prayer this morning...

God,
Grant me the Serenity to Accept the things I can not change, the Courage to change the things I can, (and this one is the hardest for me) the Wisdom to know the difference.  For being Assertive means that both of our feelings count and need validation (even when I totally believe the other person is wrong) remembering that it is their life to live as they choose.

Now I need a couple of people with good backs to help me move my stuff again...Life is good, challenging yet good.  Jacki
does anyone know how to get to the meetup group for the Army of angels, I can't find it...says it's listed but I can't find a meetup group.  Any help would be great.

When life descends into the pit
I must become my own candle
willingly burning myself
to light up the darkness around me.
