Joanna Doane is doing a Blogathon this Sat-Sun Jan 9-10 for 24 hours straight to raise money for the Angela Shelton Foundation. The Foundation is sponsoring the Army of Angels Conference. Please help Joanna by spreading the word. You can also create your own
There are many ways to think outside the box for giving. The Angela Shelton Foundation has an account here http://www.firstgiving.com/10239 where you can come up with your own ideas.
I hear Joanne is going to try this,,,actually do this, I'm just in between places and need to catch up with you Joanne, I did save your email. We'll talk later. A really neat thing to do. Jacki
Ack, I missed Joanna's blog-a-thon. But, it has given me an excellent idea. I have been taking more photos than I've written blog posts by far over the last year. I've been thinking about photo blogging, and am gearing up to work a bit more in-depth on my photography hobby. So what if I do a 30 day photo-blogging thing, where each day I post one image representing healing and/or joy, and have folks sponsor this like Joanna's blogathon? I could call it "30 days of Joy" and I'm thinking of doing it in April, which gives me plenty of time to prepare and promote. All the funds go to the Angela Shelton Foundation. What do you guys think? And would you help me get the word out?
The blog-a-thon was AWESOME! And fun! =) I'm so proud of everyone who works so hard for the AoA! You all inspire me so much! Lacey, I think your idea sounds great!
Thank you Joanna for conducting such an awesome Blog-a-Thon! The time I spent with you on-line was a blast. The posts you wrote were truly awesome. You have inspired more Angels to host blog-a-thons, and that is truly commendable! That's what we do - Inspire and Empower! You go girl!
Go Meggs!!! You will have many of us right beside you with our wings embracing you.
Diann, I'm proud to be a part of this group as well. you all have inspired me to do something I have wanted to do my whole life, to HELP people! I am thrilled to be part of a group that's actually practicing what they preach, so to speak. Many grassroots groups get stuck in the enormity of what they are reaching toward. We all know it's possible to do whatever we put our minds to, and that makes me proud of all of us! =)
I just wanted to make people aware that there is an issue when updating the avatars, when I tried I could not scroll down where you crop the photo to hit apply.I don't know if others are having this trouble.Just a heads up
