Thank you Diann, hadn't logged in and think I lost the first one.  I so look forward to meeting other Angels here in Texas and all over the country.  Even if we can meet on the internet through the cam would be fine.  There is so much that we can do to encourage each other as well as encourage the communities we live in.  Jacki  aka LadyJ
Hi Angels

I am in San Diego and would love to meet up with other angels.  I have been speaking lately about being a survivor in San Diego and am finding the lack of support available for survivors.  No one seems to know where to send survivors of CSA for support.  I think we need to get a peer support group going in every major city.  If you know of something already -  please let me know.  Using Angelas workbook and the Courage to Heal would be a good start.  Any suggestions?  TAALK.org also has a model for support groups that can be duplicated in any town for survivors, non-offending parents and partners of survivors. 
I put into the local women's center my application to help out and even offered to help fix up old computers to allow people to get on line who would not be able to afford that sort of help...and I haven't heard back.  I talked to the head of the organization who had me go to the site and fill one out yet no follow up from her.  I'll call her one more time and if they don't need my help I'll have to start it all myself.  Not that I haven't before, it's just easier going through a group that is established.  lol  yet as you are seeing it does seem strange that there is not a quick response in some areas and we have to work our way into the system.  I do have a meet up with another woman who is in business because I told her I would love to have her get some women together for a viewing of the dvd.  That's the goal to get it started.  It only takes one viewing to get people talking.

For any Angel out there that has the interest for either a viewing of the DVD or for a meet-up in a specific area, sometimes it is just better to go ahead and set it up yourself at a local library.  Go For It!  Most libraries have websites and newsletters that will advertise for free!  You can sometimes advertise for free on local websites (just ask them!) or make flyers and post them throughout your town!  If you have the desire, just do it!  There's no one better than yourself.  It just takes one determined individual to start.  The group may start with only two or three people - then watch it grow!  You will be surprised!  Squish!
Calling all Canadian Angel's!! Is there anyone around here from Canada? More specifically Edmonton, Alberta? I would love to meet up with some angel's because I have many many ideas that I would love to have an angel's help with.Let me know I love you! Squish

Anyone here in NC?  I am moving back to NC and should be settled in sometime in March (although I will be available before then probably).  I am on the southern coast of NC...so I guess if there is anyone in SC that would like to do meet-ups I could participate too...I am about 45 mins north of Myrtle Beach.  I have friends in Raleigh, NC that I visit often so I am over that way alot too...have truck...will travel!  LOL!  Just let me know if anything is already organized for either state.
I am in Red Wing MN, 45 minutes SE of Minneapolis.  I would love to meet up.
I'm in the Houston Texas area...and today another Angel is flying in and we are meeting up for a couple of days while she goes to family court here.  I'm hoping to capture some on ustream at LadyJzTalkZone and then put some clips up on youtube also for everyone.  This for me is what being part of a comunity and support system has always been about.  She has landed and will be at my house in about an hour and then we are off to Corpus Christi....road trip...

second list to work on will be a list of who is in what state so I cross reference you all.  I've sent a few private mails out to those I know are in each other areas already and I'll keep working on it. 
There is a new category now under FORUM -- Meet-Up.   Then under each "State" Angels can start discussions.  I hope that helps find and organize meet-ups.  Let me know if anyone wants new categories added.  Squish!
